After another mind-blowing season in Ibiza throwing sell-out boat parties and rocking the Space Terrace, global clubbing brand, Pukka Up is gearing up to keep the summer memories alive with the release of the second installment in the ‘Loves Me’ compilation series; ‘The Summer Lives On’.
Pukka Up took things to a new level in Ibiza this summer with their collaborations with Space, the weekly Pukka Up beach and boat parties, and their presence at the massive Radio 1 party. So, the timing couldn’t be better for the next chapter in the ‘Loves Me’ series. ‘The Summer Lives On’, unlike its predecessor, comes with an additional third disc and contains no less than 38 of the most glorious, sundrenched, big room Ibiza club records.
Recreating the inimitable Pukka Up Ibiza vibe that has become synonymous with flirtatious fun and free-spirited clubbing, the three mixes on this album span the sounds of the Pukka Up Club, Boat, and Beach parties, mixed by Pukka Up resident DJs.
CD 1, the Club Mix, is mixed by Sam Walker and is packed full of club anthems and current club hits as heard at Pukka Up at Space. It features tracks from dance music’s biggest artists including Axwell & Ingrosso, Mark Knight, Tim Berg, Dirty South and Sander Van Doorn.
CD2, the Boat Party mix, is a retrospective collection full of the anthems that have made the Pukka Up Ibiza Boat parties so unforgettable over the last 8 years. Compiled and mixed by Mark Robinson, this mix takes you straight back to those sun soaked Ibizan moments featuring tracks and mixes from the likes of Michael Grey, Harry ‘Choo Choo’ Romero, Erick Morillo and Carl Kennedy.
CD 3, the Beach mix, is packed with classic Ibiza chill-out records mixed again by Mark Robinson. This mix was inspired by Carl Cox's beach bar ‘Sands’ where Pukka Up held its weekly parties all summer. It contains tracks from Afro Medusa, Kings Of Tomorrow, MYNC Project and so many more.
To further celebrate the release of ‘The Summer Lives On, Pukka Up will throw its infamous annual ‘Pukka Up Ibiza Reunion’ party, which is set to take place at the 3,000 capacity 02 Dome on Saturday 5th November. Pukka Up will kick-start the evening with an infamous boat party on the Thames, ferrying clubbers afterwards directly to the venue like never before.
After an incredible season in Ibiza, what a better way to keep this summer’s Balearic vibes alive than with a copy of a ‘The Summer Lives On coupled with one of the country’s most original and best Ibiza Reunion parties.
